HABEMUS PAPEM!!!

HOLY FATHER POPE FRANCIS

GOD BLESS HIM

AND THE WHOLE CHURCH

Welcome to St. Peter Catholic Church

in Jefferson City, Missouri!

We’re glad that you’re visiting our website, and we welcome you to this important part of our community. Founded in 1846, St. Peter Church is rich in faith and tradition.

Following the example of St. Peter, the Apostle, after whom our parish is named, our parish’s common goal and purpose is to profess our belief in the teachings of Jesus Christ through word, worship, education and action. Several hallmarks of our parish are the St. Peter Interparish School (established in 1854), the Vogelweid Learning Center, our devotion to the Blessed Sacrament through celebrations of the Eucharist and parish Perpetual Adoration, and the generous and faithful stewardship, gospel joy, and willing service that our parishioners strive to live out and share with others each day.

The buttons to the side and the pull-down tabs above will provide a great deal of information about our parish and the Catholic Church. We hope that the information on our website will give you a glimpse into the life and vitality of our parish and community.

We invite you to come and personally experience the warmth and hospitality of our parish. We’re located next door to the historic and beautiful Missouri State Capitol. You’re always welcome to visit us on the web and to come for a visit in Jefferson City, Missouri. Thank you for visiting us today and for all the kindness and generosity that you offer in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. With our parish and community, I am

Sincerely yours in Christ,

Fr. Greg Meystrik,

Pastor
