In September of 2004, a program dubbed “Janitor For A Day” was started under the direction of its chair, Ed Rackers. This program is manned by volunteers from the society who donate one day per month to assist the full time custodial staff of the parish in doing special projects that do not necessarily fit in to the routine schedule. Projects include painting, cleaning, mopping, sweeping, and general policing of the exterior of the buildings and structures comprising the campus of St. Peter Church and School.

Other services include setting up for special events such as receptions and dinners and assisting the ladies of the parish in parking cars for the Annual Sale-o-Rama.

Men’s social activities include our regular business meetings held on the first Wednesday of February, May, August, and November. Each business meeting is limited to one hour in length, followed by refreshments and the opportunity to fraternize with other members. In the summer, approximately 15 members form the Saint Peter Saints Softball team and participate in the Jefferson City Park Board Church League. Also, this summer the society fielded a Golf team in a new Church League Golf program by the Jefferson City Park Board.
